Bicycling Schinderhannes-Bike Path: Close to the campsite runs the 38 km long bike path which is situated between Emmelshausen and Simmern. See the picturesque countryside and some romantic villages along the way.

Hiking There is a huge net of hiking routes in the region  Emmelshausen/Kastellaun/Oberwesel. Very special are the Baybach- and the Erbachklamm, where the waters have caved through the stone creating a canyon. Remember to bring sturdy shoes.

Cross-Country Skiing Emmelshausen - 4 ski-tracks – one goes to Pfalzfeld. 9 km continious track through snowy countryside. But even without skis, the winter wonderland of the Hunsrück invites for long walks.
